Home Information Packs - HIPS

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

A HIP or Home Information Pack is now required by law before any home in England or Wales can be advertised on the market.

The HIP is a set of documents about the property including an Energy Performance Certificate, local authority searches, title documents and guarantees.

The aim of the HIP is to provide as much information as possible to a prospective purchaser early in the sale process, this helps to make the sale proceed quicker and help to reduce the number of sales falling through later in process.

At Morgan York we recommend MySalePackPLC for obtaining your HIP. If you would like us to arrange your HIP please contact us.
